Porters Creek trail was close to prime for many of the familiar wildflowers on April 17, 2013. We saw many varieties of violets, Jack-in-the-pulpit, Bishops cap,

Dutchmans breeches, Trout lily, Brook lettuce, Wood anemone, Rue anemone, Heptica, Blue phlox, Yellow mandarin, and Witch hobble, as well as those shown below.
